Hi my name is Sable. I'm now 35 weeks pregnant, and for about 3 or 4 days now I have been having lower back pain, some cramps which get worse when I lay down to relax at night. Contractions that come and go they will be steady for hours then stop outta no where. My water has not broken and I dont think I have passed my mucus plug. I'm not sure if this is signs of labor or not. I have tried everything they say to do at home to induce labor just to see what happens and nothing changes. This all started after I tried doing breech tilts the other night. I am restless and miserable. Does any one have any advice on what could be going on with me.

I keep getting told that I am having back labor/contraction in my back instead of my belly. I had been having braxton hicks around 25 to 28 weeks but this doesnt feel like that. I had them with my son too but I never got to go into actually labor with my son. I had to have an emergency c section with him. The back pain and period like cramps will not go away. Thats what made me think I was in early labor. My belly gets hard right around the baby but no where else all the time but it doesnt feel like a contraction to me but then again I'm not sure what to look for. I also have ALOT and I mean alot of pressure and pain that shots all down in my legs when I have real bad cramps.

Definitely sounds like Braxton hicks, it's your bodies way of preparing for labor. This could go on for a few more weeks, before actual labor begins.

It sounds like Braxton hicks contractions. Labor contractions don't go away.
