go see a dr. yes possible to get false test result. May not yet be 6 months, can feel baby moving earlier like 3 months. Contractions not good, too early. You should be getting medical care for you and the baby, like vitamins.

Evelyn - you are right most mothers start feeling flutters and the movements progressively getting stronger as the pregnancy progresses. However, some like myself felt the babies early even with my first. It took 2 hours to do my 1st ultrasound at 13 weeks because baby was so active, The dr's thought I was further along because I was reporting feeling movements etc.
Others moms don't recognize baby movements at all through out their pregnancy.

Jennifer-most women do not feel baby movement until they get to 4 months. My niece is expecting and she did not think she was as far as she is and she was feeling the baby kick into her ribs....and guess what--she is over five months along. I know it depends on the woman though too in when she feels movements but if she is getting kicks not flutters then she could be six months along.

You need to go to a doctor to get checked out for not only the health of the baby but to make sure that your not having issues with the pregnancy. And it is possible for some tests to give a negative result. But if you are feeling those kicks and contractions you might be further along than you are. Do not wait until you go into labor to go see a doctor. Your child's health and well being are too important to do that. Also you have to think about the possible implications of no prenatal care is going to get you...what if the child ends up having issues beyond what you are prepared to deal with?
