Ok Well my roommate is pregnant and my husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. Well she found out monday that she was pregnant. And I started to feel pregnant. The question is could the fact she is pregnant cause me to feel this way even thought our symptoms are different. Example she is in her 4th week and is feeling tired and a nausea. I on the other hand would be is in my 3rd week and feeling tired during the day, not sleeping at night, a metal taste in my mouth, swollen breasts, darking and spreading aureoles, moody, frequent urination, tiny sharp pains in my lower right side, and mild nausea. And this is my only my 3rd week and I didn't think I could have symptoms like this, this early. I am not sure what to do? I cant tell if they are real or are they all in my head or are her hormones making me feel this way and go through these changes... So insight would be helpful.

It could be sympathy symptoms. My sister and my mom both felt 'pregnant' when I found out I was. They even had sympathy labour pains when I was in labour. It could also be that because you want to be pregnant, you're feeling those symptoms too.

I agree - you could be or you could be having sympathy symptoms. It is okay to take a test about 5 days before you are to start and then again in about 7 days - if you want to! I've taken mine at about 4 or 5 weeks - one was at 6 weeks. (that is for all pregnancies - full term and losses)

You could be pregnant... or you could be experiencing 'symathy symptoms'... or something else could be going on.

My advice.... wait until your period is due. If it shows, you know you aren't. If it doesn't show, test.
