Am I strict?

I am mainly asking about this for my 8yr old and 13yr old. No one says I am strict but I was wondering if you guys thought I am strict. These are rules;
For 13yr old: no going out with a boy alone until 14 or 15. Friends can come overon weeknights till 10:15pm but no sleeping over in case of emergency, only on weekends can there be sleepovers. Her boyfriend can come here or she can go the re only if the door is open and people can check on them(his parents agree). She has a Facebook but I get to check up on it and so can her father. Chores wise the main ones our cooking dinner 1 a week and babysitting her brother and sisters on Tuesdays because me and my hubby both have important meetings on that night, friends can help only until 10:00. Her bedtime is 11:05pm since her school doesn't start till 8:00am every morning(that is late for her). Now for my 8yr old;
She cannot have a boyfriend till 13. Her friends can come over only until 8:05pm. She can only have sleepovers with friends on weekends and only with GOOD friends since others are more mean to her. She can't have a Facebook until she is 11 but she does have a pintrest that we monitor. She has a ipod, tablet, and laptop but we check it once every 2 weeks on days she never knows so we can tell if she hesitates to give it to us. Chores wise her main ones are;
Cleaning up bathroom and entertaining her brother and sister before dinner. Her bedtime is 8:45pm-9:00pm. They both have to keep a B average except for classes they really don't get. No one says we're strict and they say we are good parents but do you guys think we're strict? I am 29 years old, married, have 4 kids(13yr old, 8yr old, 4yr old, and a 3 week old). I had my 13yr old when I was 16, my 8yr old when I was 21, my 4yr old when I was 25, and obviously my 3wk old when I was 29.

LOL...My inlaws thought I was 'strict' too...until my kids are the only ones who haven't been in jail, or juvenile detention...

Strict? No way. If anything, I'd actually pull you up on a few of those rules. I don't allow friends over on weeknights (mainly because not only do the kids have homework and chores, but I also have a million things to do before work the next day). 11:05pm seems REALLY late for a 13 year old. That isn't enough sleep for a teen to function properly and learn. Children shouldn't have Facebook, so allowing a child to get one at 11 is not something I would do.

But that's because you do what you do and I won't stand in front of that. Though Michelle do you let her have play dates or study sessions together after school?

Having friends over until 10:15 on weeknights is very lenient!!! I'm in bed by then and my 13yo has a bed time of 8:30. I don't allow any friends over during the week but I do on weekends but no sleepovers.
I'm more strict than you :)

So far, it sounds like you're doing fine. I was a little firmer on dating ages, and FB rules say 13 before you can have a page, but other than that...which isn't a problem, just a difference of opinion...Well done!
