So today I encountered being kicked out of my moms group because my kids noses were running a tiny bit. Seriously we were there for 2 hours and I only had to wipe them twice. I live on te west coast of BC, very wet out here, but more than that, their noses start running in september and haven't stopped since. They were sick-two weeks ago. So despite the fact that I have covered this with every worker there I was asked not to come back until they're no longer sick, which made me majorly pissed because they're not. The only reason I had to wipe their noses more than once was because we walked there in the cold. So my question is does anyone else have kids like this who;s noses run all winter? is there anything that can help? or do you know a specific cause? I was like this for most of my childhood. My nose ran pretty much all winter. It makes me angry that I'm not going to be able to take my kids anywhere all winter because they're not sick!

there's young babies there. Frankly I was really insulted. I'd kept my kids away for two weeks because they were sick, and have been going for over a year. I know what an actual virus can do to a young baby seeing as mine needed to be hospitalized over a cold. And yet they've asked me not to come back. or rather "when their noses stop running" which means I'll never be back because their noses don't stop running till june.

uh, yeah?? myself being one?? i've had a runny stuffy nose all winter and always get one, and have one most of the spring too because of allergies. i don't know, i'd probably find a new mom group or have a doctor check my kids out and write out a note saying they're not sick if they aren't and show it to my mom group. that's ridiculous though. over a runny nose??? how silly...
