I realise Fatso gets very angry when he does not get his way. He bumps his head on ground, rolls and hit against anything around and sometimes gets hurt. How do I control this anger. He lost his father in February 2015. Tiny

She says it is short for:
Tshegofatso, which really is a South African name meaning "blessing". Perhaps it does not have the negative cultural conotation there as it does in the US.

I am soo sorry you are dealing with this issue! My son is a colicky baby so we have found ways to soothe him. The Zipadee-Zip seems to work the best in easing him and allow him to sleep through the night. This makes him a less cranky baby.

Thank you Sarah for the reply. I will definitely discuss with his paediatric in the next visit. Fatso is short for Tshegofatso meaning Blessing.

Fourteen months? He is not likely experiencing grief from the loss of his dad. I am sorry that he won't grow up with is dad around. Some toddlers do bang their heads in frustration or even some do it to "settle" themselves. Keep him safe, move him to a playpen or open space where he can't hurt himself. Have you discussed this with his doctor? Is Fatso really your child's name?
