The thing is, the reason Breast Milk is so good is because of the antibodies they get from the mother. These antibodies are ONLY going to be beneficial to their OWN child. Wet nurses were used because formula was not available many years ago, and wealthier women were taught not to breast feed their own children. It is not necessary in this day and age to give a child another person's breast milk unless it is something recommended by the child's doctor. That said, it is totally up to you. If you feel comfortable giving someone else's breast milk to your child, go for it.

If the milk is "clean" no deseases or illness then i would. They had something in the news here the otherday about mothers selling their breastmilk. But they also warned about deseases and stuff. We even had a restaurant that cooked with breastmilk.,but they had to stop doing it.

Used to happen all the time...That's what a Wet Nurse was for!

In other words, if you trust the woman, and she can prove that she would not be transmitting any disease or illness, I'd say go for it.
