Anyone experience this? Both my kids/twins are able to access the general academics but both suffer to different degrees social and general anxiety. Transitions year to year are the worst ~~ ideas?? One on IEP one not.

Hi! I am unable to give direct advice, because we homeschool our kids. I can share what has worked for us concerning anxiety. When our children do experience anxiety (everybody does at some point, but our child with autism experiences it frequently), role playing and discussing the source of the anxiety beforehand really helps. With our children, we have had to find that balance of discussing changes early enough to prepare the child, but not too early that anxiety floods the child. If you have a counselor for the children, they can help brainstorm ideas that would work for your children. Praying for you!
