My son had baby acne and was told it would clear up, but after a good while and several opinions he was put on antibiotics. I didn't really to give such a young baby drugs (he was about 6 weeks old) but it started to spread from his face down his body and the spots were quite red and pussy. He acne cleared up within a week and he hasn't had it since (now 8 months) The doctor did say he might be prone to more acne when he's a teenager, but we'll deal with that then! I'd take him to your doctor to make sure it is baby acne and go from there. I washed my son with porridge oats in a stocking (about a handful) and this seemed to calm the spots a bit. Good Luck!

I think the more you try to do with his skin, the more irritation it may cause.  Usually, just washing with an antibacterial soap and water will be good enough, and the problem should clear up on its own.

My daughter had baby acne it was caused mostly by heat when breast feeding. The doctor gave me a gentle cream for her face to apply after a bath. Also something oatmeal based can help.

Use an oatmeal based soap, Johnson and johnson has one, they are very soothing to the skin. Otherwise just don't worry about it too much it will clear up on its own
