I love my children soooo much but i've tried everything to help them feel as safe and comfortable in their room's but they seem to make their way back to my bedroom at night, does any mom have any solution's on how to help??

Baby gate won't deter a 6 or 7 yr old. My 7 and four year old are in the process of sleeping on their own. I put their twin beds together in their room and lay with them till they nod off. One or the other comes to my bed nearly every night but I do not let them in the bed, I walk them to theirs and stay till they are asleep...which is generally immediate because they just needed a mom moment. We have been doing this for a month and it is getting better and easier. I don't think I can expect to undo years of cosleeping and parent snuggling quickly, so I am taking it in stride until my children feel secure and comfortable enough to not come to me in the night. Putting their beds together allows them their own space with the ability to be close and even snuggle one another if they want. And they sleep so much deeper now! Good luck!! It will happen as long as you are patient and understanding of the big changes!
