wow... too many letter, giving me a head ache... I had a "little princess" party for my daughter's first birthday. I got her a tiara (dollar store) and got everything from the dollar store, but it was all princess themed. but 8 years later, does she remember it? no. But the pictures came out beautifully... but that is just natural, since she is so beautiful! lol keep it simple, but invite the people she loves... that's all that matters at this point.

I just had both my kids parties at my house. My sons first birthday was bigger than my daughters but I realized that it isn't worth it, and even his was no more than 10 people. They have no concept of presents at that age so they have no idea. For my daughter it was just grandparents, it was nice and quiet. If you plan on having older kids there then the goodie bags are fine but it's not like your daughter is going to be be able to have any candy. I think it's fine to have a theme if that's what you want to do, it's really going to be more about what you want than what your daughter wants. Personally I'd save the big parties for when they start asking for them.

Okaee because ii had my liittle angel on myy niieces biirthdayy too ii was planniinq on haviinq there party aht the same place.. Ii was planniinq on haviinq : A large dora cake with lots of thiings on iit but you knw actually ah iice cream cake... lots of ballons ... cheese diip, hot dogs and lots of candyy packked iin bags... ii wanted to have her lots of presants and thiings...but reallyy ii wanted the party to be allll dora... iis that tooo muchh..???
