Hi, I have a 16 month old son & I feel like i am always feeding him the same stuff! Does anybody have any ideas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, & easy snacks? I do the regular stuff for lunches like grilled cheese, the toddler meat sticks with cheese, and for dinners he has what we eat which he don't always like. So i'm just looking for any ideas i can try! :)

i make a tator tot casserole that is really easy and always a hit...tator tots topped with hamburger ( i usually cook with onion...good for the immune system) and a can of soup ( i use cream of mushroom) then some cheese on top cook following tator tot instructions. my girls love peanut butter and apple slices as well!

Thank you guys!!! I'm defiantly going to have to try some of these! That shephards pie sounds AMAZING!! :) thank you guys so much! My son is very independent and wants to feed himself. He don't quite have the hang of eating by himself with a spoon but we're working on it! :) Thank you guys very much! :) have a amazing day!

Lol sorry about my novel!!

If you make pancakes of waffles you can also freeze them and pop in the toaster for real quick breakfasts

And sometimes I cheat with the lazy mans Shepards pie and I buy the premade real mash potatoes from the deli counter then just brown the beef and mix with gravy and veg :) takes 10 minutes from start to table :)

My daughter loves chili so I make a huge batch and make all kinds of stuff that, I add half a cup of brown sugar to a huge batch to sweetin it up a bit.

mix some chili in a dish with cooked macaroni top with cheese and bake.

Top baked potatoes, or progies with a big scoop of chili and some grated cheese.

Top hot dogs with a scoop

Let him dip taco chips into a cup of chili with cheese

My daughter also loves eggs so I scramble them and hide other things like peppers and onions Real quick if you mix ingredients in a mug and mircowave

There's alot you can do with pancakes or waffles as well by adding yogurt or fruit

Mix half whip cream and have strawberry yogurt for a very tasty fruit dip goes great with everything from grapes to pineapple.

A side dish Addilynn loves is cooked carrots and cooked rutabaga mashed together with a touch of butter

Meatballs or ribs in honey garlic sauce with rice

Lazy shepards pie is a hit here and just make your mash, cook beef and mix with gravy, then add veggies then let everyone help themselfs i find some like more mash some like more meat and veggies I usually make a bit of extra gravy to top up :)

Cook pork chops or chicken breast in a jar of spaghetti sauce and put on pasta noddles

Pasta possibilities are endless with red sauce you can add beef, turkey, lamb, pork, chicken small bits of cooked veggies like carrots, peppers, onions and it white sauce you can add turkey, chicken, peas, corn, broccoli and asparagus

Stir frys are super simple and with some sweet sauce like honey garlic or sweet tai are yummy too, also try making some fun things to get him intrested in food we cut oranges in half spoon out the inside and fill with jello, let them set and cut into slices :) I try to find her many different meals than doing the sane things over and over but when I find something or a sauce she likes I defiantly utilize it :)

he is old enough to eat just about anything at this point. my girls loved hot cereal like malto meal or cream of wheat...they also loved cheerios and fruit loops. fruit is always good. graham crackers with peanut butter. i get these little round sweet potatoe patties in the frozen food section, you can put a little bit of butter on one and nuke it....not my favorite food but the girls loved them when they were little...pork and beans or baked beans, very high in protein...mac and cheese...hope this gives you some ideas. good luck and God bless!
