I always miss being pregnant. I love being pg and feel great. I've been pg 5 times in 20 yrs, last being twins and I always miss it. I want 2 or 3 more still. I am going to hate menopause! Just make sure it is not the excitement of waiting for the baby you miss and that you truly want to raise another before trying again because the missing the excitement is also normal and common, but not a good reason for another. Known women who made that mistake and regretted it. It's normal though, esp. if you had a good pg. It's a wonderful experience.

Oh yes, I do know how this feels! My 2nd son was 10 weeks premature and I felt so robbed of that pregnancy. I loved being pregnant. I had a very easy first pregnancy and even though my 2nd one was difficult I still would've loved to finish it. It really lead me to want to have another child because I just had that maternal urge and instinct. I did get pregnant a 3rd time and unfortunately I had many complications and I remember wondering what did I like so much about being pregnant before. She was stillborn at 20 weeks. I am actually pregnant again and while I am so glad about that it's hard not to worry about every little thing. I hope I can just enjoy this pregnancy, I am 13 weeks and I think this might be the last one. While I do love being pregnant I have found it to also be a source of worry. I just want a healthy little baby in October!

I miss it soo much, and can't wait to have another one. Due to the way that my c-section turned out, they told me to wait at least 2 years. It will still be awhile cuz my son is only 5 1/2 months old, but am looking forward to it.....some people think that i am crazy cuz i miss it, but most of them haven't had any children yet......

Hi there...

glad to hear that Im not the only one going through this... even though my youngest is 3 years old...I miss being pregnant... Yes physically and mentally I can still have more children I guess, but taking the economy into consideration... not possible... costs of everything so high.... Now if I win the lottery then its a whole new ball game....

Keep well all you great mommies....

Im a mom of 4, and also my youngest is close in age. She's 8 months. I still have that overwhelming feeling of missing pregnancy. Me and my husband definitely do not want more kids, but, the feeling is still there. I too wonder how long it will last. Good luck

don't worry, it goes away, but I was just thinking about my little ones now 19, 13, and 9 when they were born. I loved being pregnant. When you have them, it's the REAL deal and the work begins.

I have two daughters, youngest almost 3, still miss being pregnant. I know though that I don't want anymore children, but it does get confusing. Wonder if A study has been done into the tick, tock you feel in your body when its ready for children? Do you want more children?

I miss being pregnant sometimes. I sometimes think I will never have another baby. My son is 7 years old now. and I had a miscarriage back of march of last year. And nothing has happened yet. Maybe Gods way of telling me my body and all isn't ready I don't know but it is pretty sad. Cause I would like to have one more before I'm too old. I missed alot of my son's life and the things I should have been there for. I would like a 2nd chance to prove to myself I can be a good mom. Even though I know my son loves me and I'm there for him when I can be.

Ah-ha!!  Now I get it.  I've never heard that phrase before.  I have twins, too--two sets, actually, and I got four girls.  My only boy was a singleton pregnancy.

My daughter is 38 this year and I still miss the "being pregnant, I think it is the most wonderful feeling when you feel the baby move and you can see little lumps where a foot or hand stickes in you. I find myself watching pregnant woman just to see if I can see the baby move. So I think I must be the oldest woman who still misses being pregnant. I am now a Step-Great granmar.

My twins are 11 years old now and I really miss being pregnant..for the simple fact that it is definitely a strong bond you have knowing that this little person is growing and kicking inside you. I know because we chose to have no more kids.. i will always somewhat miss that feeling. But, for those I have talked to that just had kids within this last year- they are ready for another. So, it definitely depends on whether you are going to have more kids. I wish you luck and more kids are always a good thing.

My daughter is 15 mos and I still miss being pregnant. I felt so robbed of a good birth experience as I needed an emergeny c-section under general anesthesia and then I didn't see my baby for 8 hours after she was born. I just wanted to get pregnant again to have a "do-over." That was obviously the hormones talking but I really look forward to the entire experience in the future. For now, it is nice to have the 1-on-1 with my daughter. I'll keep playing the lottery though! :)

I know exactly what you mean! I loved being pregnant. Mainly b/c I had such a wonderful pregnancy. Yes, I sure do miss it. I have never felt as good as I did when I was expecting. I guess it was the hormones and the wonderful feeling I would get knowing that I was creating a life inside me! It is an experience that we are very lucky to be able to have. My heart goes out to the poor women who are not able to have children. I look at my little girl and feel blessed every day!!

My daughter is only 18 weeks old and I already cannot wait to have another. I would like to wait until she's at least 2 to expand our family. I find myself looking at pregnant women with awe and honestly, even a little jelousy!!

Pregnancy is so beautiful and I am thankful to have experienced every moment!

I too miss being pregnant. I have a daughter who will be 4 in June and a son who is almost five months. My pregnancy with my daughter, I was sick all day everyday for the whole nine months.I was 5 days overdue but went into labor myself. My son was 7 days over, had to be induced, and was only sick the first three months. When I was nine months pregnant I didn't even fell like it. yea I had the really big belly, but no swelling or nothing, I loved being pregnant. I get jealous when I see pregnant. It makes me want to be pregnant too.

I can't believe that I miss being pregnant! My son is turning 2 next month and I think that I am ready to have another one. I'm just afraid that I won't be able to enjoy it as much as the first time around. I don't want my son to feel left out.

It's been over 2 years and yes I Miss being pregnant. I think having your own so close and knowing that i have a beautiful little life that i will help mold is so very wonderful. Of course when my children start arguing with each other or with me I also remember why I have decided to stop at 2 babies. Now I get to enjoy the rest of their lives and everything that comes with being their mother!!!!!!!

I'll answer your question this way. I have 5 children and once born, I've never "missed" being pregnant. But I do love everything about being pregnant, especially the baby bump. Most of my friends do not feel the same way, though. I do have to add one caveat--the fact that I enjoy pregnancy has never led me to becoming pregnant to fill that void.

My son is 22 months, almost 2 and I still miss being pregnant. I was 41 when I got pregnant and I guess because I knew it was my one and only chance and the fact that even with the high risk stigma I had a text book perfect pregnancy. I miss having that feeling of fully protecting my son, for me it was the best time of my life and if I was younger I would do it all over again!

Well, I have 3 (9, 6, 3) and I loved being pregnant. Minus the severe sickness and backhaches. lol. I think of it all the time. The day after the last one was born I got my tubes tied. I am a believer of faith and know that us having another baby would just not work for us. But I have taken out of my hands to know that there is still the chance of anything happening. Don't get me wrong, I am happy were I am it's just that whole pregnancy and and new baby thing that I just can't get rid of. So I suppliment. I watch children. I have a little 15 month old now and her mother is currently pregnant again. I get the benefits and perks. Maybe you should go into some line of work with children and that will help you. I wish you the best of luck and know that you know what is best for you.
