My name is Jade and I was a teen mother and I my son when I was 18 years old and I know how scary it can be to have now the new responsibility of having to care for a child but not exactly knowing what to expect and juggling other responsibilities such as school, work, having time for friends... ect, So I would absolutely love to just have a group of new and expecting moms in the fort hood area to just come together and we can give each other words of support and encouragement and of course all of the children would be welcome and they could make new friends and older teen moms are welcome and strongly encouraged to share your wisdom with the other soon to be or new teen mothers, So all are welcome and I look forward to all of your responses:)

Yes tell her to keep her head up held high at all times because people may judge there good at that especially in high school I know but if she just stands strong and keeps on going she will be wonderful mother because right now she is the biggest advocate for that baby and as long as she just stays in school and keeps looking forward to her graduation and continuing on and getting a job on the side to support the little one her and your grand baby will be just fine and I'm sure you and your guidence and support mean the world to her because more then anything that's what she'll need more then ever right now and congrats on your grand baby it may have not been the situation you wanted for your daughter my mother was very hurt and disappointed in me when she found out but the closer the due date came and once she held my son all the fear and anger instantly turned to love and joy and how I was going to step up as a mother to my baby

Thanks Jade. I will tell her. She is planning on continuing high school but then when she graduates takes online classes. She does have some rude kids but she says obviously you don't feel mature and aren't mature without a kids. Of course she is sad she will be giving up at least 4 teen years for motherhood but she thinks that is a honor. Her boyfriend is very supportive and is going to have a job for them. Thanks so much for giving us advice! I was sad at first but within a weeks time I am so excited for her!!!

Oh that sounds wonderful! My daughter is 16 and pregnant and would love your advice. Sadly we live in Atlanta though. Any advice that I can tell her?
