I'm having a problem posting so I hope I didn't post it twice but anyway I'm new to this and I am very excited that I found this website!! I am 35 weeks going on 36 weeks pregnant and my fiance' works offshore. Since getting pregnant it seems like a few people that were once considered my friends are distant. I'm sure many women have experienced this This is a very exciting time for us and now I have to realize that not everyone will understand. I want to meet new people and gain new friends that understand how it is to raise a child, live a married life, and take care of home. I'm new to all of this so I could use advice. I live in Louisiana and My parents and other family members live in a different city from us so that does not make it any better than what it is. On top of all of this I am trying to finish planning our wedding that was originally planned for July 2012 but we had a little surprise cooking so it was postponed... I really think that with my fiance' leaving for 2 weeks at a time is bitter sweet. Space is always good but him and I do a lot together. From going to zydeco's, shopping, and just sitting at home watching LMN in our pjs!! Although he has been doing this both offshore and onland for 6 plus years now it's still hard for me especially being pregnant. Is anyone else going through the same situation as I am?
