I found out I had it right after my son was born and I've never met anyone else who had it. For those who don't know what it is-it's a heart condition that weakens the heart making it not able to pump out enough blood which in turn causes all other organs to be weak. The medicine taken for it makes you exhausted all the time. Some serious risks are heart failure and pulmonary emboli. I would just love to talk to others who have this condition, it would be nice to swap info and words of encouragment with others who also have this condition. Thanks y'all =)

Hi Heather. I'm Jenny and I'm from the philippines and I can relate to your feelings for i had developed and post partum cardiomyopathy too after my second child was born. It sucks when your doctor tells you not to have anymore children. Did your doctor told you that too? PPCM is a rare condition that's affecting pregnant women in their late trimester. At that time i was pregnant with my second child i have slightly shortnes s of breath while talking and climbing stairs, other than that i feel normal and ok I even can clean my house and cook at home. my cardio told me that my PPCM was not that severe and after i gave birth my heart went back to normal in less than two months. I'm med free as of now. how about you? did your heart went back to normal? i would like to hear from you. thanks..

that sounds really rough.i don't have that condition, but i do empathize withyou.I have hereditary spastic parapalegia.it's a neurological disoerder affecting my body from abdomen downto my toes.the meds make me tired all the time too.I know it's not easy for you, just keep your faith and try to rest as much as you can.i know thats easier said than done most of the tome, but it's what you really need to do.good luck and hope you get better soon.
