I am a single mother and a sponsored student studying in the Scotland. Right now I am running out of the money as I have already used the study allowances to help my family in my home country. I feel so worried as I have to pay rental for a flat that I am residing now with my 7 years old daughter. I have another 3 months rental to pay and I feel so worried as I also need the money to pay for household expenses. What should I do to gain side income immediately? Please help.

You would be better off asking this in the work from home communities. We don't allow solicitations here and a question like this just encourages them.

If you are working on dissertation, can your scholastic institution not offer you a stipend of sorts for expenses? In the US, any student working towards dissertation is a 'paid' student, in that they receive a monthly stipend for expenses.
If you spent your student stipend on things other than your personal support for yourself and your child, you may not be eligible for more, and will need to secure employment.

Yes, my visa allowed me to work up to 20 hours per week. But I'm looking for a job only from home as I know that I cannot give commitment if working outside. Besides, I am working on my dissertation too at this time. Any suggestions of work that I can do from home?

If you are allowed to work in regards to the visa you have then get a job. If your visa conditions state you can't work then you can't, simple.
I hope you aren't trying to go against your visa restrictions as immigration can easily catch up with you.
