Every morning no matter if my husband and / or I wake my son , or even if we wait for him to wake there is almost always what turns out to be a fight and tantrum from my almost 4 yr old son . We have tried approaching it as positive as possible , but no matter what it always ends in a struggle. Any thoughts , suggestions would be greatly appreciated

We played Blues Clues with my daughter, the clues being socks, shirt and trousers. We only needed to do it a couple of times before she knew what to do. The other thing I tried is that she wasn't allowed to have her friend over or turn the television on until she was dressed.

Does he enjoy breakfast? I tend to kind of talk about what's coming up next when I dress my 3yo son in the morning, and he even steps into his pants (he doesn't like wearing pants) without complaint if I'm going on about "Hmm, I wonder if you'll choose jam or honey on your toast?" and not focus on what we're actually doing.
