I have no clue about the requirements...but I do know I took the test twice, the second time I made 98% and they accepted me. It's not about how FAST you type...it's about how ACCURATE you are. Slow down and key the words slowly...but with no errors...no corrections.
The way the site works is they show you a 'picture' they call a snippet...and your job is to type it...as you see it. From what I see when I am typing...I am processing IRS tax returns...just one word at a time. They don't give me the whole tax return...I'll see the taxpayers name and type it. Or, a line of the address...or a string of numbers..or a dollar amount.
When I passed the test...it was because I slowed WAY down and rhythmically typed each letter I saw. Speed meant nothing.

I have found one REAL employment opportunity..but it will not make you rich. This place didn't charge me anything to join...but I did have to pass a typing test. The test is about accuracy, not speed.
The pay rates do vary, usually 30 to 50 cents per 1000 keystrokes. It's never going to bring you a real paycheck to support your family...but it will give you an extra 50$ here or there.
