My son, Jesse, was born in Sept. 08 with malrotation, which was diagosed until he was 3 weeks old. He had his first surgery in Oct. 08. He was hospitalized Oct. 09, Nov. 09, Dec. 09, (all with bowel obstruction that was "unkinked" by using ng tube, no food/liquids, iv fluids, for about 1 week. In Jan. 10 he had his 2nd surgery to correct a volvulus-caused by intital malrotation. He was doing well then in Jan 2011, he began vomiting again and his bowels were distented. He was in the hospital a week and then had his 3rd surgery. Last week he began the same routinue severe vomiting, cramping, loops in bowels. He was rushed to surgery the next day. So now he is 2.5 years old and has had 4 surgeries and we are wondering what his future holds and if anyone else has been thru this. What type of specialists have you seen, diet, etc. We worry about him everyday. He is the youngest of 6 children and none of the others have any health issues. Thank you so much.
