Having kidney problems that are causing severe pain, been on bedrest for 3 months due to this. Nausea and vomiting the entire time (8 months prego now). Now muscles around rib cage are knotted up and spasming. Ugh, I just want it to be over!

I had a terrible pregnancy with my last child and she will definately be the last! At 12 weeks pregnant my pelvis started to split to far making it very painful to walk at all or stand for any length of time. The pregnancy seemed to last forever having to wear a pelvic belt was ridiculous. The pain was so severe that the consultant took pity on me and organised an inducement. Unfortunately my daughter had other ideas and came 5 weeks early. The sheer joy of being able to walk pain free again was enough reward without my bundle of joy.

Hang on in there your on the last laps of pregnancy. Good health is just around the corner!

I just hate being pregnant. I hate the big belly, the eating late at night, the not being able to sleep comfortably, the baby kicking me in the bladder, the hideous stretch marks, itchy skin, sensitive skin, not being able to shave my own legs, people asking the same questions over and over... do you know the sex... are you having it in emerald... how long to go now... blah blah blah.

I hated it too. I was sick for the first 4 months. Had 2 decent months, got kidney stones, got pre-eclampsia, then was on bed rest until the end. I'm gonna give it another go and hopefully it will be better a second time around.

This is one reason why I'm glad we're picking adoption though. I want a big family, but I never wanted to be pregnant that many times. And being pregnant once reinforced my thoughts! haha

Oh, sweetie, I know your pain. Thankfully I had my son 3 months ago and he's my last but I was in so much pain at the end with him (and he was the easy pregnancy!). With my daughter I was sick the whole time, lost 25 pounds...I was miserable. With my son I wasn't sick but I had GD and severe hip and leg pain. So when I finally gave birth I was so thankful that he was healthy and I'm done!

It will be over soon, darlin'. I know how much it sucks. :/

I hate it too!! Been on bedrest for a month and have 20wks to go! Smae thing with my first one, and she came very early. I was so hopeful this time would be different but Nope, just as miserable as before!! I would love to have normal, fun, symptom free pregnancies, but oh well :) Glad to know there are others out there not happy and glowing, LOL!

The most interesting questions I got from anyone while pregnant were from my nephews (then 7, 5 &4). Everyone else asks the same dumb questions- what is it, what are you gonna call her- why'd you pick that name (zoe)? And the random people touching me freaked me out too! I guess the only good thing about bedrest is that you don't have to be harrassed by strangers LOL

I didn't officially pick a name until he was born. I was pretty sure what it would be, but that way I didn't have to discuss it with anybody :)
My least favorite thing about other people was the way that strangers think they can just come up and rub your belly!! Really? Just because I'm pregnant doesn't mean that you can touch me assholes! You wouldn't walk up to a non-pregnant woman and start touching on her unless you wanted sexual harassment/battery charges! Oy. You're making me remember all the reasons I hated it...haha.

Hmmmm Jennifer, I love all of the names you picked. You know what's funny, my 7 yo, Madison, thought the baby needed a nickname. What she came up with, what she believes is short for Cheyenne, is Chooky. We have been calling her Chooky for 3 months now. Cracks me up! Then one day, Mady expressed her concern that the baby could be a boy and she would have to pick a different nickname. Apparently, Chooky is for girls only!

Kristian, that's just funny. I kept getting that same response with my first three kids (Curtis, Olivia, and Garrett) so, with the last one, me and my husband decided to just not tell anyone the name til she was born. Of course then I got a lot of "why'd ya pick that name?" (Shelby).

Wow, Louise and Amber! You two had it rough! I keep thinking that I am going to go early with the Braxton-Hicks and the vaginal cramping. Sometimes I get up and think my insides are gonna fall out. Didn't have that issue with the first one. The absolute worst thing with the first was the c-section. Immediately after, they pulled the epidural. The morphine wasn't working and for 30 minutes I felt like someone let rabid dogs tear me open, then poured alcohol on me and set me on fire. I told the nurse the least they could do was give me some whiskey and a belt to bite down on. Also told her that if she tried to massage my fundus, (uterus), again, that I would kick her in the head! Oh yeah, good times!

I hear ya Emma. The question I love getting over and over again, "Are you still going with THAT name?" Didn't realize Cheyenne was way out there! The itching has been driving me crazy and her 'Lord of the Dance' routine all night long is getting out of hand, lol.

Thanks Sarah and Kate. This will also be our last. I am getting up there in reproductive years, (37). With the first one, I passed a kidney stone at 8 months, haven't had any stones this time, so that is good, but I think being 7 years older has made this one a little rougher. I'm just glad that I had lost 20 lbs before getting pregnant, that could have made it tougher too. The baby seems to be doing well and is healthy, so I am thankful for that, and haven't had any blood sugar issues like Jennifer said she had. Just trying to take deep breaths and stay calm. Been watching too much HGTV. After the baby gets here, I have many home improvement ideas that are gonna drive my hubby crazy, lol!

Thanks Kristian! This is our last one- I can't bear the idea of being preggo again! I have definately had days when I cry and feel sorry for myself, but I try to remember it can always be worse. Hope you start feeling better too!!

Good to hear from you Sarah. Good luck to you! Hope all goes well with your pregnancy and that the little one stays in there for the whole duration. I know bedrest is hard, I have cried a few times, just hang in there!

Glad I am not the only one. It kills me seeing women 'glow' and LOVE being pregnant. My brother and his wife don't believe in birth control and have effortlessly popped out four so far. This is my second one in 7 years. It took me that long to forget how bad the first one was. I would love to be the mom that feels great, still exercises, etc, just not happening here!

I always hated being pregnant. I felt awful, had "morning" sickness all day every day the entire 9 months with all 4 of my pregnancies. The last two I had such horribly strong regular braxton hicks (fooled even my doctor til I didn't progress any) for the final 2 months of both. I hated all the attention and being treated like I was made of glass. The last one, I had gestational diabetes and had to prick my finger 5x a day and take shots 3-4x a day. Before I had my tubal my husband would tease "honey, why don't we have just one more" I would always tell him I couldn't handle being pregnant again, in which he would reply that he didn't think he could handle me being pregnant again either because of the mood swings. LOL
