I've tried warm baths as bedtime routine but my baby always wakes up one hour after puting him down and will sleep like almost 5 hours without one. I feel like he should relax with baths what gives?

Baths always seemed to vitalize my children when they were younger. You could try giving giving him a bath a few hours before bed, instead of right before bed. Or just give him a bath in the morning. I ended up doing morning baths.

Emma, my daughter is almost 2 (next month) and she is still like that. Sucks.

My daughter is the same way. If she takes a later bath, it wakes her up. My husband is like this also. If he takes a shower at 9pm, he will be up until 11 or midnight. Just try for an afternoon bath, and just leave it at that for a while. For my son, a bath was exhausting..not for my girl.

My kids were the same a bath tended to stir them up and they would spew as small babies and it made them more awake not relaxed and drowsy. So I bathed them at 2pm instead. then just changed and fed and put them down at night.
