My 11 year old daughter has ADHD/OCD and is on medications.. However, this last week her attitude, talking back, throwing fits and not doing what she's told has gone off the deep end. Any one else have any experience or wisdom on how to deal with it? And before you ask taking things away and time outs don't work.. been there done that wrote the book. Thank you!

Not much. My 12 year old has PDD-NOS, ADHD, depression and OCD. He's on meds to help, and they have to be adjusted every couple months like clockwork to deal with it all. We get the depression under control (worst thing for him), then the OCD comes out roaring...and get that settled, and the ADHD is worse, adjust for that, and he's depressed again. It's a struggle. I feel for you. We have had to take away all electronics from him and let him use them on an earned basis only as positive reinforcement. That helps...a little. Not as much as I'd like, but it seems to be a very slow hard process. We went with no meds at all until he was 11 and he crashed so hard he should have been hospitalized, but we didn't know what to do. Now it's a step at a time. Also we did a round with OT to help learn coping skills, but he was uncooperative.
