Anyone have experience with a Vbac after 2 c-sections?

Has anyone had experience with Vbac after 2 c-sections? I really want to "give it the old college try" because this is my last kid. My 1st had to be induced because of low fluid and he ended up not handling the labor very well, so they sent me in for a c-section. I wanted a Vbac for my 2nd kid, but didn't realize it was such a big deal until pretty late in the game and my doctor kind of scared me into another c-section. I feel a little cheated and really want to try, being well aware things don't always happen the way you want (thus the word TRY). Just to be clear, I'm not against another c-section should it be medically necessary, I would just like to give nature more of a chance this time.

Well, I know it can be done - a very dear friend of mine had had 2 c-sections, she was dedicated to not having more if possible, since she knew she wanted more than a few children (and after 3 or 4 c-sections, it's very hard to find anyone to deliver you at all). So with the third she used a birthing center and midwife and all went very well. She went on to deliver 3 more babies at home!

If there are birthing centers available I'd highly recommend that if you can do it - they're more friendly towards natural births and not so likely to pressure you into a c-section.
