Anyone have experience with late/delayed ovulation?

If so, what is difficult to get pregnant or stay pregnant? I've had several very early m/c's (spontaneous abortions is what the dr. called them) and I'm wondering if it has to do with late ovulation and a short luteal phase. Has anyone else dealt with this? I should add that I've also had two healthy and full term pregnancies - but I've had m/c's before, between and after them. For my second pregnancy, my OB put me on progesterone supplements for the first trimester, but I really don't think I needed them seeing as I was already pregnant and it was "sticking".

Any experiences with this? Thanks!

From reading the book, "Taking Charge of Your Fertility", I think the short luteal phase has a lot to do with the m/cs but the late ovulation doesn't really affect it one way or the other. I have very erratic ovulation, too, but my luteal phase stays pretty constant (14 days) so I haven't had much trouble staying pregnant once I finally get pregnant (two pregnancies with no problems, one early m/c at around 5 weeks), it's just hard to guess when I will ovulate and my cycles fluctuate between 30-58 days.
