absolutely, I have had 3 kids, and with each one it seems to have gotten worse, unfortunately. I try to do the kegel exercise, but i dont know if that even helps! It is amazing what those little ones do to our body! But I would not change a thing, it was all worth it!!!

My son is 4 1/2 now and he is my third. I found out from my docter that after having multiple births my bladder had dropped. Continue to do your pelvic exercises and not just the ones for on the floor. There is one where you contract the pelvic muscles hold and release which can be done anywhere anytime. It will stop once you strengthen those muscles again. Just ask your Dr or a nurse for pamphlets etc on what and how to do the exercises.

Quoting Phyllis:

My youngest is almost 4 and I still take a chance if I sneeze in public!

At least I am not the only one! Mine will be 5 in June and I have the same issue. Or when excercising, jumping jacks, jumping on the trampoline. Not much fun.

I have 3 kids....10, 6 and 2...I still get leaks and it's horrible. I guess the more kids you have the worse it gets. I have done those exercises and it is not helping. When I sneeze I have to hurry and cross my legs. If I go running I cannot drink anything before I go and I have to make sure to use the bathroom before leaving. "And it's all for the love of children we go through this."

yes I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy 4 mths ago and if I cough or run I leak and its so annoying to keep changing pads when this happens.I've also had 3 kids so my bladder is very weak!

I had issues until about 2 months ago when I got my first period. I still keep a handy supply of pads. I also found I 'leaked' more when I drank large amounts of fluid or drank a diuretic like black tea. Now it's not so bad. The drips are manageable, and head to the bathroom when you need to go, not later, and make sure you're completely empty.

Do your pelvic floor exercises often but not TOO often. 10 to 25 per session, no more than 3x per day. More and it's like a really intense workout when your legs and arms don't work anymore - your bladder muscles won't want to work anymore and the leakage will be worse for a day or two.

I'm good now with 10 to 20 per day.. sometimes more. Alexander is 11.5 months now.

Thanks! Ha, and then there's that embarrassing moment when you think you might have to buy the depends at the store. I did find this website where you can have it sent to your house. Adult Incontinence.com, and they have an online community if anyone wants to join on facebook.

Pelvic floor exercises. Ask your clinic nurse or doctor if you don't know how to do them. Also check you don't have a bladder infection that could be causing it.

When I'm doing something active like playing soccer, and sometimes even just running, I still have a little leakage, after having my baby 6 months ago. Sometimes a pad isn't enough either. When does this go away, if it does?
