Hoping somone might have experience with this same issue. In short, my 19 month old has seen an ENT, allergist, had adenoids removes, tried Nasonex and was also treated for sinus reflux. He just always seems to have a runny nose and sounds congested...so much so that people always ask me if he is sick or has a cold. Otherwise, he's fine. No other symptoms. The doctors just say isn't rhinisitis and a sensitive nasal passage. Just when his sinus reflux meds seemed to do the trick for a couple months, he got a cold. Now, nearly one month later, he's back to the same old snorting, runny nose and congestion.
I hate trying all these meds and the doctors that just keep saying "He'll just have to outgrow it." Anyone know of any other treatments, preferably ones that don't involve more meds????? I feel like the bad mom when I bring my son out around other kids...he's not sick but I get that evil stare.
