I gave my 6 mths DD Bellamy's apple cinnamon porridge. Read it was for 6 months up but i'm freaking out, the anxiety is killing me- wondering if introducing cinnamon at this stage is too early!!!

I always allowed mine to have cinnamon. They never had any problem. If the food said 6 months and older why are you freaking out???

I can't even imagine how worried you would be if you saw the foods i feed my baby lol. She is almost 8 months old and for dinner she had rigatoni. No baby food, no cereals, just what we had for dinner.. i didn't even cut it up into tiny pieces.

It is okay. I would say avoid salts and sugars when you can but there is nothing wrong with cinnamon. It is actually a very healthy food. http://www.thehealthysnacksblog.com/2007...

Can u believe I'm still freakin out! I'm so afraid to give her the apple cinnamon porridge! I've tried organic ice cereal but those things give her constipation. It's horrid. She used to poo 4 x a day. Soft stool. Now it's hard and once a day. Wanna try giving her prune in the evening, gv her papaya w oats cereal and she pooed a lil. She doesn't finish her feeds cause she's teething I think and she does not take water. Sighhhhhhhhhhh..,.., wad should I do Cecilia

when she is full she will stop eating. usually at 6 months they can eat a whole jar in a sitting. If she will do that in the morning and before bed you're good. Some babies only eat about half a jar a day, that is fine also. Let her tell you when she is done.
