My son always got a clear runny nose, a cough, and diarrhea when he was teething!

My daughter gets a runny nose and cold symptoms when she teeths also. It really depends on who you ask. Some pediatricians will say no it is not a symptom, and others say definitely it is. Chances are, if her nose is running clear mucous, it probably is from teething. Colored mucous indicates a cold.

My daughter also gets a rash on her body, gets really cranky and uncomfortable. One month she got 5 teeth. She was miserable. I helped her with Motrin, and teething items.
