I am a mother of three adult children and two teenage grandchildren. Is this a site only for mothers with children at home still? My youngest moved out almost 2 years ago.

most definately, just because they grow, we do not stop being moms...... and YES they still give grief at times, and having sounding boards is the best thing for US

I am a mother of 3, step mother of 1 and grandmother to 5 and step grandmother to 2. I love hearing and learning from my grown daughters but i also like sharing with young mums on how to overcome health challenges that I never knew about when i was a young mum but mostly I love being a fun Granny with Grace, Gusto and great health

My steps are 20 and 22. My 20 year old boy is probably in his room facebooking, because that is pretty much all he does when his girlfriend is at work. My 22 year old girl just graduated from college with honors, is married, baby of her own on the way and buying their first house. Crazy! But I love them both. My birth children are 4 and 7, so I have book ends. I enjoy the mix all kinds of moms. Glad you are here, hope you are enjoying your new freedom - I'm a bit envious!

I have 2 kids, 28 and 27. They were 11 months apart when they were born. My daughter has a 4 year old daughter and my son and his wife are expecting their first.

My son put himself through college and has a great job and our daughter is going to nursing school. Both have supported themselves since high school.

Both are doing quite well for themselves and it makes my life a lot easier, lol.

Hi Allison,
I have three adult children also. They are all at home, ages 25, 23 & 21. They had all moved out at one point and now are all back home. My husband thinks we'll be in a retirement home and they'll still be living at home. I sure hope not!

I also have a 19 year old son who graduated tech school this year and planned on moving out, not yet...who knows what the future holds for him...hopefully good things, he needs a job first. :-) I've been talking with mothers with children of all ages...There are very nice people on this site.

My kids are in their 20's and 30's. This site is for moms of all ages, with kids of all ages. It's funny, nowadays there are relatively young moms with older kids and older moms with young kids. Moms of all ages have their own experiences and advice to give. Its these varied viewpoints that is so interesting and at times so helpful.
