Seems like these recent times haven't been so promising in the economy and communities. How do you keep the faith?

As a born again christian....i surround myself with other christians and family who support and encourage me. I encourage you to find a good church and build friendships there., but that definitely can't replace your own personal walk with Christ. keep in daily prayer and bible study. God loves you and wants the best for you, you just have to believe that and have faith that he knows what he is doing!

I do believe that God does help us to help our families the best we can. I work from home around my family and it has been very rewarding.

Love all this! I try to remember that worrying is like telling God that you don't trust Him. He is in control, His will be done, not mine!

You just have to remember the promises that God has made to you, in His Word and personally.Being patient is a Fruit of The Spirit that we all need to master at some point.Remember, His Word declares that this too shall pass!

Pray, Read the bible. Ask God to open doors that you would not even imagine. According to our faith is that God Moves. Open you heart. It does not matter how the economy is. Gods economy is everlasting. It never dries up! Trust in the Lord and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security. Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act. Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him. (Psalm 37:3-5, 7a)

I was just listening to Joyce Meyer on TV this morning. She had a great show this morning on trusting God for everything. You can check out today's broadcast on her site http://www.joycemyer.com . She really puts things into perspective.
