My little boy didn't get his first tooth until he was 10 1/2 months, he finally got his last two back teeth when he was 3 1/2. He never had any trouble while teething i.e. dribbling, crying etc. All babies are different so please don't worry.

Kind of glad to hear this (I'm still worried though). My little girl is 13 months and still doesn't have any teeth. I check every day but still nothing. Our pediatrician said that it is not often he sees a 12 month old without any teeth, but it is much rare-er that he would see a 15 month old without any. His advice for me was if she still doesn't have any by 15 months (in 2 months) that she be seen by a dentist. I heard they could possibly make a cut across the gums to help them come in? scary.

pfffffpt. No, totally fine. Warning though, you might have a week of 10 teeth. ;) Happened to me with my first, and I have a sneaking suspicion my second is on the same track, since he has few teeth than anyone his age. Stock up on the infant tylenol and stick some wet waschloths in the freezer- good luck!

I want to reply to this because I had the same issue with my daughter. I did TONS of web related research and I was upset because she was OLDER than every other baby with no teeth. At fifteen months people started saying something might be wrong. At 18 months they recommended I start worrying! Can you imagine someone telling you it's time to worry! Like what am I doing already??? SO - at just she of 19 months Clara is FINALLY getting her first tooth - - it can be very late but keep the faith - they WILL come in!

don't worry. I have never heard of a baby NEVER getting any teeth! LOL so relax, they will come soon and probably 2 at a time. And when they do start get the baby teething tablets at walmart, they dissolve in baby's mouth and really calm them. Works great. God Bless you and your baby
