Well Hello i'm new to the circle of moms and I've been under a lot of distress waiting on my period. They are regular and come at the first week of every month. Today is the ninth day and I have yet to still come on my period. All last week every time I have went to work I felt nauseated. I have been very moody and sleeping almost the majority of the day. I have been feeling very lazy struggling to get myself out of bed. I took a pregnancy test and it was faintly positive although I took it in the late evening. My fiance thinks I'm just thinking too hard but I have not felt like me. So I think I might wait a couple more days and take another one in the morning. Moms please help do you all think I'm pregnant?

I wanna know for sure so I can try to kick my terrible smoking habit :(

Were you able to give up the other 2 times? If you were, think about why you went back to it. If you couldn't, now could be a good time to have a good think about what the biggest struggle is for you in giving up because this can help you in taking the plunge and making it stick.

I smoked a pack a day before I got pregnant, as soon as I thought I was pregnant I quit. I know it sounds silly but what worked for me was if I had a craving for a cigarette I would use a pen or something similar & hold it like a cigarette & inhale like I was smoking & it totally worked for me. I know its not the easiest thing but you can do it :) Good luck & Congratulations!!

Whelp I took a digital test and a regular test by first response and I am definitely pregnant so I will be trying to cut down from a pack and a half a day to about 3-5 cigs a day it'll be hard but I need to nip this in the bud for good. I want to stop cigarettes all together now and i'm going to try to make this a successful journey.

Just tell yourself you are pregnant then :P

Honestly though, maybe it is time to consider ways you could give up. I was a heavy smoker, and smoked on and off (mostly on) for 20+ years, and have now been smoke free for 3 years, and never, ever even feel like one. Finding a method that works for you is very personal. I would suggest you have a look at your options and consider giving it a go. After all, giving up smoking BEFORE you get pregnant (which even if you aren't now, you will be sometime), is the healthiest option.

I feel like if I knew for sure it would be more encouraging to quit. I can say I don't want to smoke and I want to quit all day everyday but its hard when you smoke a lot. Although I can say If I knew for sure I was pregnant then I would simply have no choice no matter how hard it might be.
