I just wanted to find out if other parents of teenagers with AS have a problem getting their son or daughter to get up and go to school. It is my son's senior year and he has already missed at least 15 ays of school. Two of those days he was actually sick.

He is most likely anxious. Having more blood work done today. I was worried because he is so tired all the time. Blood work showing possible thyroid problem which could add to his feeling down.

I always wish we could be invisible and follow them thru a day of school...its so hard to know what to do.

He has trouble waking up for sure. He also has much anxiety. I know he just feels safe at home in his room. He has had problems before with bullying but normally I can get him to tell me if that's why.

Does he have trouble waking up or is he anxious? My daughter missed a lot of school and i later found out it was anxiety and some bullying
