At 14 weeks my ultrasound showed a 6.5 in long from head to rump.

My last ultrasound showed that my baby was measured at 6.5 inches long from head to rump. My partner is 6'1 and I am barely 5'2. He was close to 10 pounds when he was born. Could it be possible that I am having a big baby?

Given that size it would seem you are further along than you think... at least by everything I'm seeing online (I haven't been pregnant in a LONG time..). At 14 weeks a baby is only about 3.5 inches. Size does vary a little, but not by being almost double what baby 'should' be. And yes, you could be having a big baby, but the size doesn't vary that dramatically at early gestation.

Like Jodi said, 5 months and 2 weeks would make you around 22 weeks, not 14 as you say or even 16 as you say in your other post. That is a big difference so you need to actually find out how far along you are.

Can I just point out that your profile says you are 5 months, 2 weeks? In another post you said you are currently 16 weeks. 5 months and 2 weeks is not 16 weeks......so maybe you weren't 14 weeks when you had the ultrasound and your own calculations are just out?

I'm starting to think that the tech made a mistake or maybe I misinterpreted the findings at some point. Even the Dr agreed with the findings. I will find out more and call on Monday. Thanks for all your input

I agree with Dove. It would not be normal for your fetus to be double the average length. I am surprised they didn't give you a revised due date.
