at what age can you give a baby baby food i am a first time mom so i really dont know

The recommended age is around 6 months. It also depends on your baby. Your baby may show signs of wanting solids and then only small amounts start with pinky size to a small teaspoon no bigger to begin with. Then you can introduce things like veggie and fruit purees and custards.

I'd recommend starting off with savoury because once you introduce sweet foods it can be hard to get them to eat the healthy savoury stuff. Pumpkin potato things like that are a good thing to start off with.

But don't stress if bubs doesn't find solids appealing even at six months. Every child is different and will eat these food when they're ready Good luck :)
