My daughter is 2 1/2 months old and is drooling a lot like her cousin did when he was teething. She also keeps her hands in her mouth and is a little fussier than usual.

My daughter was 4 months. My son didn't pop any teeth until around 9 months. They all jsut develop so differently. Makes for an interesting guessing game, unfortunately.

When it comes to their teeth it isn't gonna be a high fever. It'll be a low grade fever. If it is a high fever it's not the tooth and call the Dr.

All kids are different. My oldest got her first tooth between 4-5 months and my younest got her first tooth when she was 7 months. There have also been babies born with teeth. Stick a clean finger in her mouth and rub her gums and see if you can feel any teeth underneath the gums. If so then yes she is teething. Get some orajel and buy some teethers cause it feels real good when their gums are massaged.

Babies can start to teeth at 2 months. My doctor was looking to see if my daughter was teething at her last well baby (2 month). I asked if it was too early and she said no. The first tooth is always the worst.

I'm so glad you asked this. I have a nine week old who is drooling like crazy and chewing on her hands. I've been watching for a fever and so far nothing. I'm thinking about giving her a teether to chew on, but I thought it was too early. Now I probably will.

You can give her motrin, all kids start teething at different ages. Mine started anywhere from a few months to almost six months.

My daughter is now a little over 3 months old and she started teething when she was 2 1/2 months. I thought it was too early but sure enough she has atleast 2 teeth comin in on the bottom, this week ive noticed she is chewing her thumb on both sides and i can feel the little teeth! She wont take a teething ring so i just let her chew her hands and she loves her thumb.

My son started do that at the age too. I kept saying that if he were any older I would think he was teething. Come to find out a week later, he was! He had 2 teeth on bottom coming in. He is now a year old and has 12 teeth - including 4 molars!

Sounds normal and possibly rubbing her gums might help. The rubbing helps to numb the itch that comes with teething. Pacifiers and teething rings help also. But keep the "droop towel" handy!

Mine started doing that at that age too, and didn't get his first tooth till he was almost 10 months old! He just turned 1 and has the 2 bottom teeth and half of his 2 top teeth have come through.
