at what age do you think a brother and sister should stop bathing together?

we have a very open family and my children still bath together and sit and talk to each other whilt on the toilet...i was recently looked down upon fo rletting them do this as the are now 9 and 7 what do you think?

It depends on the culture .... family and community. Some are nature and relaxed about such things and others start seeing such things as sexual by age 2.

I am thinking 5 or 6ish depending on the kids

I think that because one is almost double digits and puberty will start to set in that you should start instilling some privacy boundaries for them so that they know and realize that everyone needs their space and there is a time and place for togetherness. I think it is great that they have no issues being together and that they are close I am more concerned about other situations like when one has friend over that sort of thing it can become embarrassing to have your sibling tagging along on what is to the general public considered a private event.

Hmmm, I think 9 and 7 is kind of old. I think my brother and I stopped at 6 and 4......I THINK. I would have to ask my mom.

if they are comfortable then it's fine. As soon as one becomes uncomfortable then it is no longer ok or fine and privacy needs to be respected.
