Hello, my 3 year old has attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and we have been doing all we can for the past couple of years and we visited a good doctor who told us that there are three medicines that are good and we need to choose one of them. I was wondering if someone knows anything about them and can help me; Methylphenidate

strattera atomoxetine

Risperidone (Risperdal)

If anyone has any information, i tried to do a little research but i would love to know if anyone tried any of them.

thank you

I have a 5 year old son who is autistic and also has adhd... tge doctor offered to medicate him but I chose not to... I've been desling with it through therapies and physical activities to wear him out and his therapists have also helped me work on him through routines and such... I amb a single working mom and it is hard but the only time I did try medications was a horrible experience. He was sleeping all dsy, could barely stand on his feet and he was just 2!!! So I opted not to do it again.

My advice is to seekb other methods, I know is hard and at times you might want to pull your hairs out, but this requires lots of patience. ..
