My son is two ECI Early Childhood Intervention has give him a preliminary diagnosis of Autism and A Neurologist the diagnosis of Non-interactive epilepsy. Does that mean he has been officially diagnosed with the two. And if so what should I do next he is on seizure meds and ECI never contacted me back after the first visit.

ECI SHOULD FOLLOW UP WITH THE PROGRESS YOU'VE MADE ALREADY WITH THE NEUROLOGIST. YOU SHOULD CALL THEM ASAP AS TO WHAT YOUR NEXT STEP SHOULD BE. OR MAYBE ANOTHER NEUROLOGIST FOR A 2ND OPINION IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE WITH WHat you've been told at this point THE DOCTOR SHOULD CLARIFY WITH YOU IF HE IS OFFICALLY DIAGNOSED WITH THE TWO. NEXT TIME YOU HAVE A VISIT WRITE DOWN YOUR ?'S ON A NOTE PAD AS A REMINDER TO ADDRESS YOUR CONCERNS. EVEN IF ECI HAS MANY CASES YOUR BABY NEEDS HELP AND TIME MATTERS SO MY ADVICE IS TO BE THE MORE "PERSISTANT" MOM.
