My little girl is 2 1/2 years, and she is loving tv too much. She even cries if I change channel. I dont know if it is healthy for her, because I remember I was the same. But I honestly don't know if its good or what.

You just turn it off. There is probably an off button somewhere. At worst case, if your child knows where the on off button is, if you check the back of the TV, there will be a cord that plugs into the outlet in the wall. You can turn that off too.

Sorry, just sarcasm :P

The tantrums? If you never put the TV on, they will become a thing of the past. She needs to learn that her tantrums will get her nowhere. A lot of TV is NOT good for her, and she needs to be limited in her viewing. If she is throwing tantrums over it, lose it altogether.

You avoid tv by turning it off. Or better yet, don't turn it on in the first place. Due to privilege removal for my 8 year old, my tv wasn't on at all for a full 3 weeks in December. Actually, it was on twice after my girl went to bed, because I wanted to play a video game. lol
