My daughter is 3 1/2 months old and most babies i have seen by this time are standing with assistance of course but they are trying to stay standing. when ever i try with my daughter she just bends her legs right away and tries to sit. is it normal for her not to yet?

I heard 6 1/2 months would be the earliest for assisted standing... your baby will let you know...

at this age dont worry about it not all babies like to stand early. when she can support her back and head better try a bouncer this will help her to feel her feet and get some weight on them.

Perfectly normal....She will on her own time. 3 1/2 months is very early still.

All babies are different, so yes it is perfectly normal for your baby to not be standing with assistance. At 3 1/2 months you should be looking for your baby to begin sitting with support and attempting to roll over (not necessarily doing either yet though), standing will come after these at some point. Enjoy your baby for a while longer because they quickly grow up.
