Hi everyone!
I'm here promoting my new group, Infants with Pectus Excavatum.
My son was born with both Pectus Excavatum and Laryngomalacia grade 4.
He may be having corrective surgery at the age of three if it is hindering his breathing to the point that it is causing him problems.
We just want to promote awareness and build friendships.
Hope to hear from you!

My son has Pectus, he will be 5 in July. We thought that we were past all the breathing problems, the doctors said that he could grow out of the breathing problems if we could just get his lungs to mature, but I will be taking him in today. He's been coughing and now he is wheezing. I would really like to talk to other people who have kids with this, I'm the only mother I know with a child with PE, it's kinda lonely

Hi Sandra! Welcome! Does his pectus seem to be hindering his activity? My son doesn't seem extremely effected though he is only 8 months. He does seem to get winded when he crawls quickly though, which worries me a bit. Is your son's pectus pretty severe? My sons is.

My son has pectus excavatum, and I've really tried not to worry about it until now. He's getting close to 2, and I would like to start to prepare in case he needs surgery.
