Baby aftr completion of three months can start consuming water

No, usually docs. will say at 6 months it is ok to give a little bit of water. But as Firebird said it is not necessary. Babies get all the water they need from the milk they drink. Water should never be a replacement for milk. So if water is not replacing milk a baby should not need much water if any.

Not a good idea. After six months baby can have small amounts but it isn't necessary. Giving too much water to an infant can cause water intoxication which can be fatal, not to mention water will fill baby's stomach without adding any nutrients so too much water can cause a baby to become malnourished and essentially starve to death.
