Baby bedtime stress

Since baby was born, my husband and I have been living with my Mother and Sister. They like to live their lives a very specific way including watching TV with lights on and talking very loudly to one another until 11pm, despite the fact they know we're trying to put baby down, and can't get baby into any kind of ritual because of it. yes we are desperately looking for a new place to live, but do to a major flood crisis in the area the rents on everywhere have gone up exponentially, and even then the competition for what is out there is extreme. From about 5-6pm on Baby is just very very fussy, nothing seems to work. Feeding, playing changing, nothing makes her settle in until she hits the exhaustion wall and cries like mad until I can get her to feed, or she just passes out. Its extremely stressful, and even on the nights when its just me, daddy and baby we can't seem to get her to do any better. I've been trying to reassure daddy its just a phase and it will get better, but I'm not sure what I can do to improve the situation now. Any advice? Anything that you've had work? She is not big into bath time, and rocking her only works once in a while. Also she's hit the 'attached to mommy' phase pretty hard so she's not happy about daddy rocking her to sleep.

She's 6 months old, and yeah I'd say it was about 2 months ago this started. We can see she's tired as well, and she's been exclusively breastfed until recently, we're gradually adding in fruit puree's and baby cereals. 5:15 sounds like a dream. I'm happy if she's in bed by 9, its usually more between 10 and 11 she's out for the night.

Usually she wakes up in the 8:30 area, nap at 10, nap at 1-3 depending on when she wakes from the first nap, and a little power nap around 7. I've tried laying her down around 7 and hoping it was for the night, but it never has been.

How old is she??? My 4month old started flipping out at the exact same time too!!! We figured out she was sleepy, but wasn't fully satisfied enough to just fall off to sleep. Try to arrange your feedings where u give baby a bottle around 4 with a little cereal in it maybe? It worked for my daughter, she ate, then played for a bit and by 5:15 she's dead asleep....good luck
