Hi! I'm currently designing a multifunctional baby carrier and I would really appreciate if you could spare 5 minutes of your time to complete this survey: https://surveyplanet.com/5703184c10f2ea0d1e22a30a. The results will be used as my market research for my Major Design Project.

I would agree with Sarah E. I have personally found that wraps or carriers similar to wraps work the best. If you have not already done so you may want to join a babywearing group as they will give you a lot of feedback. They also have lots of knowledge of carriers already out there and different ways to carry.

On a side note; after using carriers for the duration of raising four kids; I was constantly sweaty, achy back and did not REALLY have two free hands. That was when I looked to third world countries, where women carry babies for miles and miles and have to carry water or firewood as well as baby. I found the style of a Moby wrap to be be very helpful. Better than a traditional carrier and better than the sling...good luck in your endeavor.

On the note of joining babywearing facebook groups - most won't allow market research in chatter or selling groups

Thank you so much for your interest in my project! I have done some research on existing baby carrier and currently making different prototypes of the ideas I came up with. I'm hoping to transform the design into a 'baby walker' so parents could use it even after their baby has grown up!
