The doctor told me they should be fine unless they have fallen from twice their height, then you should have them seen.

Just relax....you can't keep them in a bubble....my four year old is covered in bruises because he thinks he is superman and can apparently run threw furniture and walls. My 14 month old daughter looks like she used her head as a battering ram. They will look beaten, atleast until they sort of kind of maybe master the art of walking....sorta.

I used to put a pillow behind Logan when he was learning to sit up. He used to throw himself back and think it was funny until he banged his head and couldn't get back up to sitting.

It shouldn't hurt him, but why take a chance. I always took a body pillow and wrapped it around them, so they were safe no matter which way they fell (except forwards).

I agree with Teresa. But if you're really worried about it you can do the pillow thing or a helmet? Most kids' heads are made of cement, though. ;)

He 'should' be fine. It's not too far to fall. You could always stick a pillow behind him while he's sitting up to give yourself a little more peace of mind.
