Baby fell 😰

I took my four month daughter for a walk on Sunday and she fell asleep while on the walk. I don't usually buckle her in for quick walks around the block. We came inside and I was being very careful not to wake her. The handle on the car seat was back, I tripped over my cat and out flung my baby and landed face down on our hardwood floor. I swooped her up right away and she cried and I cried. We took her to ER and they seen no reason to do a ct scan. She is laughing smiling eating and sleeping and playing just like her normal self. Lesson learned but I can't help but feel so horrible. It was three days ago and I'm still a mess.. Anyone else have similar stories??

this is my response from the duplicate post:
How scary for you. I do think when we have a near miss with our kids as mothers we can play it over and over and get stuck in the what ifs. I took a tumble holding my youngest and she fell from my arms and landed on her back and hit the back of her head. Oh boy, I was shaken up for days! All that happened was she bit her tongue and otherwise she was fine. You need only to forgive yourself, you are human. God took care of her. What I did do when I was stuck in it, obsessing about it, was put a rubber band on my wrist and snap it. It is a way to interrupt the thought process. Keep telling yourself, it was an accident, she is fine. Your going to be fine too.

My daughter was still very young...a few months old and I went to get ready for work and had her on my double bed. She rolled off before I knew it onto the floor. The bed was higher than normal. I was so scared. She was fine though.

Yes I do! My oldest was a baby and flung out of her seat, very much like yours. Hope she feels better!
