Baby fighting when i try to burp

My 2 1/2 month old will cry and fuss when I pull the bottle out to try and burp her half way through feeding. She also cries after the feeding is done until we can comfort her. We switched to nutramigen from gentlease thinking it may have been a formula issue or milk sensitivity so it doesn't seem to have helped. We also tried waiting until the bottle is done to burp her but she still cries and fusses. I don't think it is reflux b/c she doesn't refuse the bottle, in fact she is so happy to have it back. she does spit up a little after but does not seem to be in pain. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks in advance!

then it sounds like she's too too hungry to wait for you to burp her...wait until 3/4 through the bottle when she is feeling more settled. If she is screaming and crying through the burping she is taking in more air instead of expelling it. Babies have tons of growth is around the 8 week mark she might be needing more to eat.

Our son would do that too and it's because he wanted to keep eating and did not want to stop to be burped. There also came a time right around 3 months of age where we had to increase the amount we were offering because what we had been offering was not enough anymore. Have you tried offering more when she cries after she’s finished with her bottle? I'm guessing she's ready to have the amount at each feeding increased. I would start by adding an ounce more then what you normally offer. Good luck!
