MOST HELPFUL POSTS

I will be going backwards from the statement you posted.
1) Flat head is something that happens when a baby is laid on her back or leans in the carseat back somewhat for long periods of time. If she is doing a lot of laying around then that is why she has a flat head and you should have been working on sitting her up with support long before this.
2) Talking is just going to be her babbling and making some sounds that sound like words. Babies are not born with communications skills like an older child and adult.
3) What are you feeding her? She is still mostly to be on breast milk or forumla with samples of this and that as the doctor directs to try things out and work on her skills for eating.
4)Not rolling or crawling? Have you allowed her the chance to do these things. If not, holding her all the time is not going to help her develop those muscles to be able to do those things. If you have allowed her tummy time on the floor and she is not doing those things by now then ask her doctor about that.
5) She is 8 months of age. She is not going to be doing a lot of things that you seem to be expecting right now. If you have concerns take them to the doctor. But you need to quit laying her down all the time if you do not want her to have a flat head. And learning to eat food it is normal for her not to want to use a spoon at first.
